Tottenham hero Glenn Hoddle is urging Mauricio Pochettino to stay where he is.
The Spurs manager features high on the shortlist of names Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has put together to succeed Zinedine Zidane.
Should Real finish the season without a trophy, Perez will seek to replace Zidane - and Pochettino is among the favourites to do so.
But Hoddle says: "Why would he go to a club where, after 8 months if they have problems he could be fired?
"He likes the club and tries to build something here. I think he wants to leave Tottenham on a good note, with a title being the key."
