Glenn Hoddle is primed to succeed Harry Redknapp as QPR manager. The Sunday Mirror says QPR owner Tony Fernandes will turn to Hoddle if Redknapp cannot halt the Hoops' dismal early-season form.
Redknapp's job is on the line with QPR bottom of the Premier League after five defeats in their first seven games - and with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City to come in their next four fixtures.
Fernandes is unlikely to pull the trigger soon, but club sources say former England boss Hoddle, who joined the coaching set-up this summer, will be the prime candidate to take over if a change is made.
