Glenn Hoddle believes Ronald Koeman belongs on the shortlist for the Chelsea managerial position.
Southampton currently sit seventh on the Premier League table and are playing quality football under the Dutchman.
Chelsea have been rumoured to be interested in candidates such as Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini and former Chile manager Jorge Sampaoli, among others, but Hoddle believes Koeman would be a decent fit at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to BT Sports, the former Spurs and England midfielder believes Koeman would be the right man to fill the vacancy despite Pellegrini also being a top choice: "It seems players will play for him (Pellegrini).
"He seems to be a really nice guy.
"I would probably go on a football front for Koeman. Koeman has been excellent.
"Saints fans won't like me for saying that, but Koeman for me, with better tools I think he will be on their radar."
