Former England and Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle believes that Michy Batshuayi is not in his manager's plans for the short or long-term.
Hoddle was speaking on BT Sport about the fact that Batshuayi can barely get a game for Chelsea, even when star striker Alvaro Morata is injured or rested.
Chelsea are also being linked with many transfers in the January window, with the likes of Edin Dzeko and Olivier Giroud the most recent mentions.
"He doesn't fancy him, there's no doubt about that," Hoddle said on BT Sport.
"That's difficult for a young player coming here, especially a striker.
"You've got to play back-to-back games, get the confidence, put the ball in the back of the net a few times and know that the manager's going to back you.
"So he's behind the eight-ball all the time Batshuayi whatever he does. But he's scored some important goals, Champions League.
"He doesn't feel at home when he comes on the pitch as a sub and when he starts he feels under pressure already because he's trying to win the manager over.
"Once you've won the manager over, you're a different player, I can tell you that now.
"Once you've won him over, you're a different player. You're relaxed, you can play to your best ability. But he's not at that stage yet."
