Jack Hobbs is set to see more Liverpool action this weekend.

Liverpool may have Jamie Carragher and the inexperienced Hobbs as their only available central defenders for the trip to Manchester City on Sunday after the ankle injury suffered by Sami Hyypia at Derby County on Boxing Day.

The Finn received intensive treatment yesterday but is rated a serious doubt.
