"It was a good experience going on loan at Scunthorpe and it was a good eye opener to see how it was in the Championship. It started well but then I was left out of the team towards the end, which was disappointing.
"I am just going to try my best every day in training and see where it takes me. It's going to be tough and I'm under no illusions about that but I'm going to work as hard as I possibly can to try and show the manager I can do a good job for him.
"The boss and Sammy Lee speak to you a lot and they always give you encouragement. They also give you tips and advice on where they think you can improve. It's good because as a player you can only improve with the advice of someone like our manager."
