Football pundit Shaka Hislop has claimed that Manchester United will complete the signing of Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini.
The 21-year-old rejoined Roma this summer from Sassuolo after the Serie A giants triggered their buy-back clause.
The player has been linked with a move to the Red Devils during recent times and Hislop believes that a move will materialise.
"A ball-playing, very technical midfielder. I think he will (go to Man United). I think this makes a whole lot of sense," Hislop told ESPN.
"If you've got big money to spend, he's the kind of player you want to spend it on."Manchester United do, they have a need."I think it makes a whole lot of sense for player and club."
United will look to bolster their midfield in the near future given that Michael Carrick is at the latter end of his career and will likely leave the club or hang up his boots at the end of this season.
