Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood is confident securing Robin van Persie to a new contract.

The Dutch goal machine is wanted by Barclays Premier League rivals Manchester City, but the Gunners' chief believes the forward will ignore the cash on offer and sign a new deal at the Emirates.

"I think Robin and his family are very happy in London and I don't think he is solely motivated by money as some players are," he said.
