Hill delighted to be back in QPR fray after Nottingham Forest loan

Clint Hill admits he is thrilled to be back in the reckoning at QPR following his short loan at Nottingham Forest.

The 33-year old defender was signed by the Championship club on an emergency loan in late September but after just five appearances was called back to Loftus Road as the R's had a shortage of fit defensive players.

Hill started for the West Londoners as they won 3-2 at his former club Stoke City on Saturday and he was delighted to have contributed with a full 90 minutes after thinking he had now future at QPR.

"I thought my chance was up here when I went to Forest on loan," he told QPR's official website.

"But I managed to get myself back in, got recalled and played a couple of games - I'm just thankful that I'm here."
