QPR skipper Clint Hill admits Adel Taarabt was "disappointed" after his spotkick miss in their 0-0 draw with Norwich City.
Taarabt had the gilt-edged chance to beat the Canaries but, after Mark Bunn upended Jamie Mackie, the Norwich keeper beat away the Rangers star's 56th-minute penalty.
Hill admitted: "Adel is disappointed. You fancy him in those positions. The big chances that we are creating we can't stick in the net. That is the way the season has gone.
"We need to show some spirit and character and believe we can do something.
"But we need that win. We have had some very good draws. But we need to drag other teams into it.
"The end of February and March is a massive time. We are playing teams in and around us and those results will determine where we are next season."
