Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain will arrive at Arsenal as the club's highest paid player.
The Sun says he has agreed terms of £125,000 a week with the Gunners, taking him above current highest earners Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski.
Now he is hoping the £22m move will be sanctioned by new Real boss Carlo Ancelotti.
