Gonzalo Higuain would like Napoli to try for Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
Messi talked up the prospect of Argentina teammate Higuain joining him at Barca during the World Cup.
"I wanted to go to Barcelona? I have always told the truth. That is, I wanted to think only of the World Cup and then I would return to Naples. Hence, I was quiet, I had nothing to fear, because there was nothing to comment on.
"If Messi said certain things, I can only be flattered. I believe that all players would like to play alongside a great champion, but that does not mean that one wants to leave.
"So why not Messi to Napoli? Maybe, it would be nice, but I think that it is impossible or nearly so.
"He is a legend in Barcelona."
