Gonzalo Higuain is set to sign a new deal with Real Madrid that will kill off any interest from Manchester City.
The Argentine striker will reportedly sign a deal that will keep him at the Bernabeu until 2016 despite the fact his current contract is valid until 2013.
New Madrid boss Jose Mourinho sees Higuain as central to his plans and will give City no chance of prying him away from Spain.
