Gonzalo Higuain has welcomed the battle he faces with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to lead the Real Madrid attack in the second-half of the season.
Higuain has been Real's big success story this term, but faces a new fight to establish himself ahead of Huntelaar with Juande Ramos now in charge.
"With another striker arriving, it's good for me," insisted Higuain. "It means I cannot relax, I need to keeping fighting.
"And the truth is that I hope very strongly that Huntelaar also can help Madrid as much as possible to win titles.
"You always have to prove yourself here, whether more players arrive or not. That's life at the best club in the world."
