Gonzalo Huguain was delighted to grab his first goal of the season in Real Madrid's scratchy 3-1 defeat of Almeria yesterday.
The Argentine came off the bench to settle Real nerves after Almeria had pegged back the scores to 2-1 and said afterwards: "It's not always possible to play well, but I believe that there were no bad players today. It has been an even game that Almeria approached well, but Madrid took advantage of our chances and it was enough to win.
"I am pleased to score and hope that it is the first of many. It is going to be difficult to win a place. There is a great squad here and if you relax, you lose your position."
