Leeds United goalkeeper Shane Higgs has been offered a new deal just over four months after joining the club.
The 32-year old initially signed a one-year deal with the Whites in June this year after crossing from Cheltenham Town where he spent more than a decade.
Leeds have handed Higgs a further 12 months on his contract which has vindicated his decision to leave the Robins and land at Elland Road.
"I've always believed in myself that I was good enough to do what I've got to do," Higgs said.
"If you do well, contracts come with that. You tend to go year by year but I'm pleased with the way it's gone so far."
