Michael Higdon has departed Scotland to join Dutch club NEC Nijmegen.
The 29-year old striker, who was voted Scotland's top player last year with Motherwell, has headed over to the Eredivisie on a free transfer.
Higdon has signed a two-year deal with NEC after successfully passing a medical.
"We wanted to have a type of target man," NEC technical director Carlos Aalbers told the club's official website.
"With capturing Michael, that is successful. He's shown to be able to score goals at the highest level."
