Hiddink pleased with starting performances of Chelsea starlets Kennedy, Bertrand Traore

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink haile young duo Kenedy and Bertrand Traore following their performance in the 2-1 victory over Norwich City.

Youngsters Kenedy and Traore were handed starts for Chelsea's trip to Carrow Road on Tuesday night and the inexperienced pair played a key role in helping the Blues to the three points with impressive performances.

Hiddink was understandably left pleased by Kenedy's opening goal and Traore's assist for Diego Costa to make it 2-0 and stated that the fans can expect to see them involved in more first team action in the coming weeks.

The Dutchman said: "They are knocking on the door. They work seriously in training and then you have to play them, especially when there is a tight schedule.

"They need the experience of playing from the start in intense Premier League games which is why I don't hesitate to bring them in.

"Traore came on in the previous games and had good appearances with goals. Starting is a little bit different but it's good to have that experience. He stumbled a couple of times when he normally could have scored but that is a good experience for him."
