Guus Hiddink has commented on speculation that Chelsea could go after Manuel Pellegrini as their new manager.
The Chilean will leave Manchester City at the end of the season after the club opted not to extend his stay at the Etihad Stadium and he has already been linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge.
Hiddink is in the role on an interim basis until the summer but did not have too much of an opinion on the situation when queried on Pellegrini's potential shift to West London when he is replaced by Pep Guardiola.
"That's up to Chelsea to decide," said Hiddink.
"I admire his approach to football, to the game, his team. He's a well-balanced manager and I respect him, without having known him at this moment."
