Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has been explaining why he substituted Baba Rahman at half-time at Southampton, after the left back made an error.

"He was sitting in the dressing room and before I announced it he was down, so that's why we made a change," said the Dutchman.

"He has to recover but you cannot always wait. We need every one. He did some decent play in the recent games but we like to be critical."
