New Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink is ready to immediately stamp out any dissent at Stamford Bridge.

The 62-year-old Dutchman will meet his new charges for the first time today after being confirmed as manager until the end of the season.

A source close to Hiddink told the Mirror last night: "Guus always believes you must sort out these problems quickly and the way to do that is to make sure the big characters in the dressing room are on-side.

"He already knows who counts at Chelsea and that's why he will talk to those players and use them to help put his message across."
