Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks is excited about Rafa Benitez's new-look team.

Hicks said: "The team's going to be a far better one this year.

"Part of the plan that Rafa Benitez told me and George Gillett was we needed more depth. We have that now and I'm very excited.

"I am coming over for the Chelsea game and I'm already really looking forward to it."
