Hibs caretaker manager Tommy Craig has stated that David Murphy won't be going on the cheap should the Edinburgh club decide to sell the coveted left-back.
The former Middlesbrough is a target for both Celtic and Rangers as well as a number of Premiership clubs.
Craig said: "With David Murphy, we know that clubs are going to be looking at him.
"If David Murphy does leave Easter Road in the not too distant future, I am pretty sure it will have to be a helluva offer.
"You saw how good a player he was against Celtic and that is the norm.
"He is a first-class full-back and the fact he is left-footed makes it more special.
"I would like to think, as long as I am still here, he will be here."
