Hibs rule out return for Celtic striker Riordan

Hibs boss John Collins has ruled out a return to Easter Road for unsettled Celtic striker Derek Riordan.

Riordan said yesterday: "I am not happy here and I don't just want to sit on the bench or in the stand every week. I have not had a chance at all and I can't do anything about that if I am not playing. I have got to look elsewhere. I would rather go away and just concentrate on another club now."

However, that club is highly unlikely to be a return to the green and white of Hibs according to Collins, who pointed out he is already "well covered at the top end of the pitch."

Collins added: "I'd imagine he would be well outwith our wage structure."
