Hibs boss Fenlon insists Wolves striker Griffiths staying

Hibs boss Pat Fenlon insists he's not sending striker Leigh Griffiths back to Wolves.

The pair clashed on Tuesday but Fenlon rubbished reports that the striker had HEADBUTTED him and punched assistant boss Billy Brown.

Fenlon said: "I'm surprised at the rubbish in the press.

"As is usual for high-tempo training sessions, involving committed players and coaching staff, robust views and opinions are shared, and yesterday was no different.

"Leigh is a quality striker, and a lively personality, and will remain a key part of my team for the rest of the season.

"There's nothing at all in the story.

"We just want to focus on winning games and getting up the table."

Griffiths said: "The club have put out a statement.

"I've nothing to say. I'm just letting my manager and agent deal with it."
