Hibernian striker Derek Riordan is reportedly ready to leave Edinburgh for MLS club Houston Dynamo.
The 28-year old has been offered a three-year deal to join the Dynamo in Texas and it is now likely that he will depart Hibs in the summer on a free transfer.
Riordan has been at Easter Road since 2008 after joining from Celtic. Prior to that he had a short loan spell with Cowdenbeath after starting his professional career with Hibs in 2001.
This season he scored 11 times in the Scottish Premier League, following on from his 14 the season before and 12 prior to that, but said that it may be in his interests to try something new.
"It's maybe better for me to move. It gets monotonous playing in the same league against the same teams," he said.
