The Swedish side set up a meeting with the Edinburgh club after overcoming HB Torshavn of the Faroe Islands by a 4-1 aggregate scoreline in the first round of the tournament.

Hibs finished sixth in the Scottish Premier League last season but applied to take part in the competition in a bid to qualify for the UEFA Cup.

Mixu Paatelainen's side will now take on Elfsborg in the first leg of their tie at Easter Road on July 6.

The return leg will take place in Sweden six days later.
