Hibernian boss Mixu Paatelainen is still hopeful that Morocco international Merouane Zemmama will return to the club. The 25 year old has spent the last year on loan at Al Sha'ab in the United Arab Emirates as his wife was unable to receive a visa to enter Britain.

"The reason Merouane went to Al Sha'ab was because we were willing to help a young family to stay together," he told The Evening News.

"The visa issue is still up in the air but there's a possibility things will be solved.

"We shouldn't get carried away and nothing is certain yet but it looks positive and if the matter is resolved he'll be back playing for us again."
