Hibernian boss Paatelainen had every confidence

Mixu Paatelainen was convinced Hibernian would climb the table once they found their form. A 4-1 victory at the weekend over Motherwell ended a worrying six-game winless run.

He said: "It's been a fantastic mood this week. Whenever you win, everybody is happy.

"The spirit the boys have and have had has been absolutely first-class, no problem at all.

"The effort in training and in matches has been there, it's just been the stupid mistakes which can happen very easily when we're talking about young players. Unfortunately, we suffered from that in recent weeks.

"I do feel we need to add a little bit of experience in time, but everybody makes mistakes.

"You want to win every game, and when you realise you haven't won, you are not happy. The players, coaches, directors are not happy - nobody is happy.

"But the spirit you must have in those situations is very important, everybody is important to put that right.

"It's vital that we realised to stop making mistakes."
