Hibernian boss John Hughes has performed an about turn and stated he is not interested in succeeding George Burley as Scotland manager. On Thursday, the former Falkirk boss was seemingly interested after backing a proposal to join Jim Jefferies in the Scotland set-up.
"I am not interested in the Scotland post," he told the Daily Record.
"It has taken me long enough to get the Hibs job and I worked ever so hard to get here and want to be here for a right good number of years. I have the best coaching job in Scotland, I am telling you.
"Eventually, maybe 10 years down the line, I would reconsider it because it would be a great honour to boss your country but it is not for me at this moment."
