Hibernian boss Fenlon toys with move for Vancouver Whitecaps striker Miller

Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon admits that the thought of having Kenny Miller on loan certainly interests him.

The Vancouver Whitecaps striker is keen on spending the winter playing in Europe during the MLS offseason and Fenlon suggests he could make a move for the former Rangers and Celtic star.

However, Fenlon also wanted to make sure he could hold onto current loan players Leigh Griffiths, Jorge Claros and Ryan McGivern in January.

"It's been mentioned to me in the last few days but it's not something we've actively done anything about," said Fenlon.

"Is he available and does he want to come and play for us? You never know. He's a fantastic player and we look at all options to try and improve the team.

"We're actively looking at players in that position as we've known for a while that Leigh (from Wolves), in addition to Claros (from Motagua) & McGivern (from Manchester City) might not be here after the middle of January. We need to have options in place in case he isn't.

"If Kenny's an option, then great. I don't know if we could afford him."
