Hibernian manager Colin Calderwood insists he still has plans to bring in some new signings during the last week of the January transfer window.
Hibs are currently second bottom on the Scottish Premier League table and are just three points off being on the bottom, currently held by Hamilton Academical.
Calderwood has made it clear he needs reinforcements to help kick his side into gear this season and into the future and will continue searching the market.
"We are looking at every area," he said. "We are looking at the short term, but we are also looking beyond this season.
"Hopefully there will be one or two we can take in between now and the end of the season on a loan basis.
"We have addressed all the areas because we have got to be secure, come February, that we have enough to get us results going forward and we have got to have an improvement in those results and give people a lift in the dressing-room."
Hibs are reportedly targeting Nottingham Forest midfielder Matt Thornhill whilst Calderwood is desperate to keep Derek Riordan who is being heavily linked with Burnley.
