Former Leicester City striker Emile Heskey says Nigel Pearson deserves to keep the job.
Pearson was reportedly sacked, before being reinstated, after defeat to Crystal Palace last week.
Bolton Wanderers striker Heskey said: "I think Nigel Pearson has done well and is coming to terms with the intensity of the Premier League.
"There are signs that things are gelling for him, and the five point gap at the moment is still close enough to get over. I hope he can do it."
