Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey says the team is stronger this season without Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan plundered 31 goals before joining Barcelona in the summer but Heskey insists the squad is stronger.
He told LFC TV: "We've got a better squad this season than, I believe, last season, missing one important player.
"Brendan has added one or two and actually made it better. Defensively we're still getting there, but it's a lot sounder than last season."
