Emile Heskey expects new manager Gerard Houllier to do well at Aston Villa.
The Villa striker spent his entire time at Liverpool (2000-2004) under the Frenchman so he knows him well and believes he has what it takes to get the club back on track and winning trophies.
"I know all about Mr Houllier which is nice and fingers crossed he's going to bring good times back to Villa," he said.
"He's done brilliantly at Liverpool and I'm sure he'll do the same here.
"It's all about winning trophies. I've managed that in my career and I want it to carry on.
"It's a big club, we are striving to go further, it hasn't quite gone as far as getting into the top four is concerned but we are still trying."
