Emile Heskey believes that Jamie Vardy would struggle at Arsenal.

Vardy has been subject to a £20million bid by Arsenal and the England international is currently mulling over the decision of whether or not to join the Gunners.

While many feel that Vardy would be a hit at the Emirates Stadium, ex-Liverpool and Leicester striker Heskey believes that the 29-year-old is likely to struggle due to the fact that Arsenal play a more possession based style which is in direct contrast to the counter-attacking football of the English champions.

He told the Daily Express: "The only thing is they play possession-based football and that means you're going to have teams sitting back, so that means there's not much space in behind.

"And he likes space to run into and create goals that way.

"So it would be very difficult for him at Arsenal. In this market, he's probably worth more like £25m."
