Hertha Berlin are ready to sign Liverpool midfielder Allan.

The young Brazilian began training with the Germans last week and impressed Hertha coach Pal Dardai in the weekend friendly against Braunschweig.

"I told the manager that I would like to see Allan in our team and that I would love to work with him," revealed Dardai.

Hertha GM Michael Preetz aims to complete the signing of Allan today on a season-long loan. BILD says the agreement will not include any loan fee.

Dardai admits he could play Allan in a defensive midfield role, "As a No6, Allan can be a genuine option."
