Hertha Berlin winger Javairo Dilrosun: Man City treat players like merchandise

Hertha Berlin winger Javairo Dilrosun has taken a swipe at former club Manchester City.

Dilrosun left City last summer to join Hertha Berlin, where he has scored twice and assisted three times in 11 appearances. He recently made his debut for the Netherlands against Germany.

Speaking to ELF Voetbal, Dilrosun said: “City are like a company. Players are their merchandise."

But Dilrosun did admit he is a better player for working with Pep Guardiola.

“I didn't really speak much face to face with Guardiola, but I've learned so much from just watching him.

“He gave some great advice that made me a better player – details about my first touch for example.

“And he's a very capable of explaining his tactics to his players."
