Hertha Berlin are ready to cough up for Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin.

The News of the World says the Ukraine striker spent last season on loan with the German side in the Bundesliga but a permanent move broke down over his hefty personal terms and he is now back at Anfield.

However, Hertha contacted Liverpool last week to reopen talks and indicated they are prepared to make a new £3m bid.
