Hertha Berlin have opened talks with Liverpool over a permanent deal for striker Andrei Voronin.
The Ukraine international has done enough on-loan this season to convince Hertha to sign him permanently.
Liverpool are seeking around £4 million for Voronin, who joined the Reds on a Bosman.
