Released Notts County defender Sol Campbell has attracted an offer from Hertha Berlin.
The Daily Mail says Hertha Berlin are trying to sign Campbell on an 18-month contract. The former Notts County defender has held talks with FIFA and PFA representatives in his bid to be free to play again after walking out on the League Two club.
Despite his actions breaking transfer rules he hopes a tribunal can begin next week and award him special dispensation.
He believes he can argue he was misled by County. Campbell, 35, has offers from English clubs but not as lucrative as that from the Bundesliga side.
