Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt are battling for Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin.
The Ukraine international is expected to be put up for sale by Reds manager Rafa Benitez in January as he seeks to boost his own transfer kitty.
Hertha are regarded as favourites for Voronin, though are reluctant to discuss an immediate outright transfer for the striker.
Eintracht have also been linked, though chief executive Heribert Bruchhagen played down the claims this morning.
