Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin has held a round of talks with Hertha Berlin about making his loan deal permanent.

Hertha GM Dieter Hoeness said: "There is a willingness on both sides so that this experience will continue. Andriy is making a big contribution with his experience, quality and goals.

"He told us that Hertha is his priority so now it is up to Liverpool to decide the next move."
