Lazio midfielder Hernanes has warned fans not to expect miracles from new coach Edy Reja.

Reja kicked off his reign with victory over Inter Milan last night.

"Reja doesn't have a magic wand," Hernanes told Sky Sport Italia. "We trained a lot over the Christmas holidays.

"I didn't go back to Brazil because I wanted to be part of a team that shows its potential.

"We have to improve mentally and physically to be at the top of the table.

"If we are all 100 per cent fit then we can make our contribution."
