Hernanes was delighted with a winning debut for Inter Milan in victory over Sassuolo.

The midfielder impressed in the 1-0 win.

"It was an emotional experience to play at San Siro. The pitch was in excellent condition. It's a bit faster than the Olimpico because the grass is a bit shorter. The stadium is magnificent, as always - the best I've played in. It will always be a pleasure to play here.
