Hernandez unsure of Melbourne Victory future

Carlos Hernandez has revealed that he is unsure if he will remain with Melbourne Victory after the current season.

It has been suggested that the 29-year old Costa Rican midfielder is keen to move on so he can strengthen his chances of being a regular member of his country's 2014 World Cup qualification campaign and he admits he is not too sure of where his future lies.

"I don't know," Hernandez said. "I finish (my) contract in March, I don't know if I'll stay in Melbourne.

"I like Melbourne, Melbourne for me is good, for my family. I'm happy here in Melbourne but I don't know if I'll stay or not."

Hernandez has been linked with North America's MLS in recent times but it remains to be seen if he will depart the Victory for whom he has made over 80 appearances and scored close to 30 goals.
