Luis Hernandez insists Leicester City remain confident ahead of their Premier League season opener this weekend.
The reigning champions head into Saturday's trip to promoted Hull City on the back of a 2-1 loss to Manchester United in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday and despite admitting the result was not ideal, defender Hernandez is eager to look ahead to the next game.
"I think for all players they are happy to play at Wembley," he told LCFC TV.
"It is a good stadium. It has given us a taste to come here again and win. I am very proud of my team-mates for their performances, but tomorrow is another day and we can put all our efforts now into next Saturday.
"I think it is important that we have the hurt in the next game next Saturday. I think it is important to start the season well after last season. I hope we can play well and get the win."
The summer arrival added: "I thought the team played a good game and we showed that again this season we can compete with the Premier League's big clubs.
"If we had taken one of our chances the game could have changed. But it isn't just the result. I think we can be happy with the performance and be confident for the season. This is the line to be continued."
