Hernandez leaves Valencia for Swansea

Pablo Hernandez has completed his transfer from Valencia to Swansea City.

The 27-year old winger has departed his homeland of Spain to sign a three-year deal with the Swans for a fee of £5.55million.

Hernandez, who re-joined Valencia from Getafe in 2008, was thrilled to be making the move which is first out of Spain since he started his career with the Valencia B team back in 2004.

"I'm very happy to become a Swansea City player," he told the club's official website.

"It was my target as soon as I knew there was interest. There were offers from other clubs, but this was the only club I wanted to join."
