Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal and his predecessor David Moyes suffered a farewell snub from Javier Hernandez who left Old Trafford for Bayer Leverkusen in the transfer window.
However, the Mexican international lauded Sir Alex Ferguson and the club's chief scout Jim Lawlor in his farewell message.
"I want to thank Sir Alex Ferguson and Jim Lawlor, the club staff, all the players I played with," Hernandez said in a statement released on his Twitter account on Thursday.
"But especially I want to thank all the Manchester United fans in the UK and all around the world for the incredible support I've had this past four years and all the best wishes they have for me in my new chapter!!"
