Trezeguet's agent Antonio Caliendo admits the Frenchman "dreams" of pulling on the Azzurri shirt.
And Corriere dello Sport says Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is keen to make the deal happen.
For his part, former Juventus striker Trezeguet is willing to take a pay-cut to move to Naples.
